The hotel is very central. The train station is just across the road. Shops are right outside the entrance.
I booked a twin room. I arrived and was put in the tiniest single room I've ever seen. The noise was loud inside the room, even late at night.

the air conditioning in my room did not work. it was stuffy and unpleasant (i think it's broken). also, the kettle provided was quite basic, and the teabags were nothing special. i expected a bit more for the price.

The location is excellent. New street station is a short walk away. the staff were cute. The receptionist made check-in easy. my room included complimentary water bottles and big towels.
I noticed a crack in the bathroom sink. It looked to have been there for quite some time, a slight disappointment.

My husband surprised me with a wedding anniversary trip. We got an upgrade with wine and chocolates. The room was super clean (thanks to Lauren in housekeeping!). The bed was really comfortable, I felt so pampered. The shower was a little low for my tall husband, a funny moment indeed.

The location was perfect i tell you! it was so close to everything i wanted to see and do. the staff were just so cute and friendly. I really was like they cared. i got a superior beautiful double or twin room, and it was way bigger than i was expecting!
the shower temperature was so annoying. it kept switching between hot and cold, not fun at all. there was no parking on site, even though it said there was a parking garage. i had to spend an hour finding the nearest parking, stressful.
